I am honoured to serve the my nation as the youngest Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.

I was born on May 24, 1975 in Dera Ismail Khan, I graduated with LLB in 2002 from Thames Valley College, UK. I began my political career in 2002 and have served as the Divisional Coordinator of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for D. I. Khan. I am married with one daughter. My area of interest includes hunting.
I hail from a well-known political family of the NWFP. Earlier, my father Fazal Karim Kundi was elected as MNA from this constituency (NA-24) in 1990 on platform of PPP, he also remained the Chairman of District Council D. I. Khan from 1983 to 1991 (Two Consecutive Terms). My grandfather Fazal Qadeem Kundi was a member of the West Pakistan Assembly. My maternal grandfather, Justice (Retd.) Faizullah Khan Kundi has served as Federal Minister for Establishment in the PPP government of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1971-72 and later as Chairman Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) from 1972 to 1979. My great grandfather Barrister Abdul Rahim Kundi has the distinction of being the first Deputy Speaker of the NWFP Legislative Assembly from 1932 to 1937.
I was elected to the 13th National Assembly of Pakistan in the February 2008 general election on a PPPP ticket. I was subsequently elected as the 17th Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan on March 19th, 2008. As a young, first-time elected MNA at the age of 33 years, I also have the distinction of being the youngest Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan. I am serving as the Patron of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF).
